- 1 1/4 cup apple (diced (such as Fuji or Gala)1)
- 1/3 cup white onion (diced1)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder1
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt (or sea salt1)
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg1
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon1
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed1
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme1
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder1
- 1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder1
- 1 tablespoon oil for frying1
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, diced apples, onions, and all the seasonings1.
- Use a 1/4 measuring cup to scoop the meat mixture and form into patties1.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Working in batches, add chicken patties in a single layer and cook for 5-6 minutes. Flip and cook for another 3 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and crisp and the center is cooked through (patties will take longer if they are thick)1.
